OmniPod and Dexcom Seven+

I've finally broken down and decided it was time to join the insulin pump revolution.  After looking at all the available pumps I decided to get the OmniPod since it is the only one that doesn't have a tube attaching you to the insulin resivoir.  I also decided to get a Dexcom Seven+, a Constant Glucose Monitoring device.  The CGM will give continual readings of my blood sugar levels and alert me when they become too high or low.  In the near future the OmniPod's Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM) device that controls the pump will be able to communicate wirelessly to Dexcom's CGM and I'll only have to carry around a single device.

I wish it were easier to get onto one of these devices, but with our byzantine insurance companies, nothing is ever easy.
