- Fresh Lemon
- Olive oil
Cut the bottom 1/4 off of the asparagus. Squeeze the fresh lemon to get lemon juice. Toss the asparagus in lemon juice, salt and pepper then set aside. Place a pan with a lid on a burner with medium heat, put olive oil in the pan and then put the asparagus into the pan. Place the lid on the pan and let steam for three to five minutes or until the asparagus is pliable but with a crisp center.
